Sylfirm X
Microneedling in Chattanooga, Tennessee
The skin experts at our Chattanooga Med Spa offer the very latest in microneedling technology with the Sylfirm X Radio Frequency System, SkinPen, and Collagen P.I.N.
Also known as collagen induction therapy, microneedling is a non-surgical skin treatment that improves skin tone and texture by stimulating the body's healing response. Milder than laser therapy, this treatment boosts collagen production and cellular regeneration.
Below are the three types of microneedling options we offer...
RF Microneedling with Sylfirm:
As the world's first and only FDA-Approved Pulsed Wave and Continuous Wave Radio Frequency Microneedling System, the Sylfirm X device offers minimally-invasive treatment of the following conditions...
-
Melasma
-
redness
-
lax skin
-
unsightly pores
-
wrinkles
-
Acne scars
-
stretch marks
-
Rosacea
-
poor scalp circulation
RF Microneedling technology is highly effective at treating such skin conditions because of its ability to penetrate deep into the dermis and repair damaged skin cells and blood vessels. Even more impressive, the frequencies emitted by the device also stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.
SkinPen:
Particularly effective for neck wrinkles and acne scars, SkinPen Microneedling works by creating thousands of micro-punctures to the skin which then stimulates the skin's natural wound healing process. During this thirty-minute process, the production of collagen and elastin are boosted. Not only does this result in smoother, firmer-looking skin, the increased blood circulation creates a glowing complexion.
Collagen P.I.N. :
P.I.N., an acronym for Percutaneous Induction Therapy, is a cosmetic procedure that employs sterilized micro-needles to create numerous tiny punctures in the skin. The Collagen P.I.N. distinguishes itself from other microneedling devices by featuring a higher number of needles that can penetrate up to 3MM deep, compared to the 2.5MM depth of most other pens. This advanced capability not only enhances collagen production but also leads to quicker results and reduced discomfort for patients.
What to Expect:
After the initial skin evaluation has determined the individual to be an ideal candidate for microneedling, the patient will be numbed with a topical cream. Once the numbing has taken effect, the treatment itself typically takes around thirty minutes to one hour to complete.
After the procedure is complete, patients may experience some redness, swelling or itching for up to 7 days, but downtime is minimal. To speed up the healing process, for an additional charge, we offer topical exosome therapy.
