But before I brag about the device itself, for those who may not know about microneedling, I would first like to provide a brief overview.

What is Microneedling?

Also known as collagen induction therapy, microneedling is a non-surgical procedure that involves a medical-grade pen comprised of tiny, sterile needles that induce tiny punctures on the skin. Ultimately resulting in skin regeneration and collagen stimulation, microneedling is used as a minimally invasive solution to treat skin imperfections such as acne scars, pores, textural issues, uneven tone, wrinkles, and fine lines.

What is Collagen P.I.N.?

P.I.N, , short for Percutaneous Induction Therapy, is an aesthetic treatment that utilizes sterilized micro-needles to inflict several micro-punctures in the skin. What makes the Collagen P.I.N. different from other microneedling pens is that it not only comes equipped with more needles than any other device, the needles themselves are FDA-approved to go a full 3MM deep (most other pens can only go 2.5 MM deep). Not only does this technological advantage result in greater collagen stimulation, but faster results and less discomfort to the patient.

What To Expect:

Upon arriving at our Medical Spa in Chattanooga, patients are typically given a topical numbing cream. Once numbed, the procedure itself takes up to thirty minutes to complete.

While most patients see visible improvement 3 weeks following their first session, for common skin concerns like acne scars, a series of 3-5 treatments is typically recommended.

To maximize each session, patients can choose to add a 4% or 8% protein rich retinol peel to their service. To speed up the healing process, we also offer topical exosome therapy for an added charge.

With technology this fast-acting and patient-friendly, there really is no reason to live with bad skin any longer!
